
Eirini studied Architecture in Thessaloniki, GR and Cinema production in San Francisco, USA as a Fulbright and Greek State scholar. Αs a filmmaker, she has been awarded the Murphy and Cadogan Fellowship for the Arts from San Francisco Foundation and the Jack Oakie Creative Grant.
Her first film “Vis-à-Vis” participated in the Athens International Film Festival. For her second short film of “Safety Net”, she won the Director’s Award from the Life n’Art Film Festival, an honorary distinction from the Rochester Film Festival and participated in the festivals of Memphis, Seattle, Rochester, etc. and the Greek London Film Festival. The film gained international distribution from the Canadian company Ouat Media. Eirini won an honorable mention for her short screenplay “Breastfeeding Dreams”. Her short film Counterattack, received a production grant from Fotokem Labs in Los Angeles, screened in Drama Short Film Festival and it was selected as Greece’s official participation in the 2011 European and Mediterranean Young Artists Biennale in Rome.
Eirini currently lives and works as a director in Athens.
