PETRA TERZI

PRODUCER - DIRECTOR - WRITER - CULTURAL EVENTS MANAGER

Founder of Cyprus International Film Festival , Women in Film & Television – Cyprus and  Bridges International Film Festival in Greece.

Her feature film projects under development include Kanela, a coming-of-age drama that follows the journey of an Armenian refugee girl chasing her dreams in Spain and Greece. Additionally, she is the co-director of the documentary United By The Waters, -a co-production between Greece and Portugal-, and develops I am Nana, an inspirational film based on the true story of a disabled girl. She is also the co-producer of the children’s animation anthology film Olympia-The Horse.

Petra Terzi studied Business Administration, Classical studies, Life Coaching, Writing and Film Direction in the Cinema Laboratory of Theodoros Maragos and the Film School Akmi in Athens. She got a Master in Digital Video Production in Neapolis University in Cyprus. The feature documentary She Should Run – Cyprus is her thesis film. She is co-writer of the script of the feature film “49 Years After” based on a true story.

Since 2000, Petra has been a talent agent, a film director and producer, a high caliber events‘ (Kevin Costner, Michael Bolton etc) and film festivals’ organizer in Greece and Cyprus with a vast professional background in industrial management, destination management services as well as in volunteerism. Petra Terzi has established in USA, 2013, the profitable charitable corporation “Cultural International Festivals”  with activities promoting firstly women in film industry and secondly concerning new filmmakers’ (all genres) exposure live platform and film co-production in the United States and Europe. She is member of the European Film Academy.
