
Zina Lefkou-Panagiotou is a professional working in the fields of film, audiovisual production, cultural management and film education. She studied Audiovisual Arts, Image Education/Pedagogy and Cultural Management in France, at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 and Université Paris 8. Her professional experience includes television documentary production, film and cultural festivals, international productions, educational programs and cultural organizations.
She is currently collaborating with the television documentary series “Balkania Express – Ajde Balkan” for ERT3, focusing on journalistic research and production organization. She has also worked in film and audiovisual production, including with Millennium Media in Thessaloniki, as well as with important cultural and film institutions and events such as the Syros International Film Festival, the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People, and other cultural projects in Greece and abroad.
In parallel, she has significant experience in film education. She has taught film language, film production and film/television history in a public vocational training institute, and has designed and implemented film workshops and educational programs for children, young people and students. She also participated in the project team of CINEDU, the national film streaming platform for schools developed by the Greek Film Centre, contributing to film selection and the creation of educational guides and tools.
Her professional profile combines hands-on production experience with education, research, coordination and cultural practice, with a consistent interest in the transmission of cinema.
