Evangelia (Lia) Tsalta is a film writer and director. She studied Film & Television Directing at Akmi Metropolitan College, and Studies in European Civilization at the Hellenic Open University. Her films The Forest (2018), Magma (2022) and Nothing and Everything (2025) have screened in international and national film festivals (such as Sarajevo FF, PÖFF Black Nights, Εncounters SFF, Uppsala SFF, Go Short, Drama ISFF, Athens IFF), while have been awarded from festivals such as Drama ISFF and Athens ISFF. She is working in the audiovisual field since 2013, having worked as an assistant director for short films, advertisements, TVCs and video clips. She is an Art-Works fellow supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and a Sarajevo Talents alumna.
