PHAEDRA VOKALI

WRITER - DIRECTOR - PRODUCER

Phaedra Vokali has been working in cinema since 2006, in the fields of filmmaking, distribution, journalism, festivals, and education. As a producer, she has made more than 20 award-winning short films, actively supporting creators in their first steps. She is a member of the EAVE Producers Network and an alumnus of the Torino Film Lab. She is a fellow of the Artworks program, a member of the Feminist Autonomous Research Center, and co-founder of the production company Late Bloomers. She was General Director of the Greek Film Academy (2021-2023), and in 2022 she made her directorial debut with the short film ENOMENA. In 2025, she co-created the documentary US: A Film about Bloody Hawk, which sold more than 100,000 tickets in Greece and Cyprus. She is currently developing her first feature film, Unholy, with the support of the Greek Film Center.
