Athina Georgia Koumela is a visual artist and musician who lives and works between The Hague (NL) and Athens (GR). She gratuated from Athens School of Fine Arts in September 2020. During her Bachelor Studies she studied stop-motion animation with painting on glass. On 2024 she graduated from the MfA Artistic Research (Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague). She is interested in the organic connection between image and sound and she investigates the boundaries between fact and fiction in art. Currently, she is studying Makam Music in the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam.
