Xenia Tsilochristou is a Director, Photographer, and founder of the audiovisual production company Penguin Productions. Based in Athens,Greece she has an extensive background in cinema and television, having directed numerous documentaries, short films and commercial videos. A graduate in Film and Television Directing, she has developed a distinctive artistic vision, focusing on creating original and innovative works with strong social and cultural narratives. Through Penguin Productions, she aims to produce high-quality audiovisual content, incorporating modern storytelling techniques and fostering collaborations with artists from diverse creative fields.
Her work has been recognized at international festivals, earning prestigious awards such as Best Director at the Doha Independent Film Festival, the “Karolos Koun Award” at the 10th International Documentary Festival of Ierapetra, “Best short film” in New Jersey Film Festival, and the Gold Award at the Spotlight Documentary Film Awards. Additionally, her films have received accolades at the International Film Fest of Belgium, the Singapura Film Festival, and other major events, solidifying her contribution to cinematic storytelling and visual arts.
