Mina Dreki is a producer based in Athens, Greece. She holds a BA in Mass Media and MA in Linguistics from the University of Westminster, while she has a second BA in European Studies. In her role as a producer, she is driven to focus on projects that empower new voices and contribute to sustainable storytelling. Her shorts have participated at many international festivals (Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, BFI, Animaze, etc.), won Greek Academy Awards and been released by global publishers, such as The New Yorker & HBO Europe. She is a member of the Greek Film Academy, alumna of American Film Showcase, Midpoint Institute, IDFA Academy, Balkan Documentary Center, Rotterdam’s & Cinelink’s Producers Lab. She has attended mentorships by EWA and ACE Producers, has trained by TFL’s Green Film Lab and won the Producers’ Network Award for Cannes 2023. She has been selected to participate at EAVE Producers Workshop 2024.
