Elena started studying architecture and then she studied film directing. She gained her first work experience in 2014 at Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Her film studies combined with her work at the PR & Events Management dept. broadened her horizons. As a result, in January 2020 she made her next leap towards the creation of audio-visual content for promoting the Social Media and internet platforms of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. She coordinated the creation of the first digital-cultural platform of the ministry, digitalculture.gov.gr. Elena’s demanding work at the Press Office of the Minister enriched her experience in communication. She worked on the coordination and the communication of the 270 events of the 1st newly established festival “All of Greece one culture” organised by the Ministry of Culture.
After 6 years working in pr & communication of cultural events and festivals, Elena decided to step into film production.
From February 2021 to February 2022 she worked at the German Film Production Company, unafilm as a Junior Producer. Elena has worked for several international co-productions in the stages of development and financing.
In February 2022 she started working at the Greek Production Company, Blacktree Productions, as a producer. She produced the first short film of the company titled Pigeons are dying, when the city is on fire 2023 which premiered in A list festivals such as Sarajevo International Film Festival, Clermont Ferrand etc.
In November 2022 she also started working for Musou Music Group as a Pr & Communications Specialist.
Since October 2023 Elena started collaborating with Boo Productions as Producer and head of development for series along with her work at film production.
In September 2023 Elena started working for the Greek Film Festival in Berlin as a Social Media Manager & Communication.
Elena participated at 2023 MFI script lab as an assistant trainer.
She is also working as a consultant and strategist for films and projects.
