Mary has 25 years’ international experience in Film and events Production, Communications and Entertainment in various managerial and creative roles. She has worked in Greece, Indonesia and Mexico in companies and organisations including DDB, GREY INDONESIA, JAKART INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL, WARNER ROADSHOW, VILLAGE ROADSHOW, ATTIKA, KIDARTE.
She holds a degree in Law from the University of Athens, Greece, an Msc in Marketing from the University of Stirling (UK) and is an Alumna of Harvard Business School. Her vocational training in Film includes NYFA and Sundance Institute. She speaks English, French, Spanish, Indonesian,
She has published a novel (Livanis) short stories, poems (Livanis, Kastaniotis, Nefeli, Fildisi, Metronomos.) As screenwriter she has contributed in TV series (MEGA- Safe Sex) and has written a theatre play (Roadtrip, Kinitiras.) She is awarded by the Screenwriters Guild of Greece for her songs collection, in the 1st Panhellenic Songwriting Contest (2d award & Award for emotional expression.)
Her first short film as Writer-Director, Producer “An Armchair on the Pavement” financed by ERT, has premiered in DISFF 46 (2023) and got awarded for Technical excellence. Her second short film was selected at the DISFF 46 Pitching Lab (2023) and is currently in development.
Currently, she collaborates as an Independent Producer & Creative Producer with production company Piece of Cake and in 2023 she has launched her production outfit Lucid Dreamers.
