Artemis Anastasiadou is a screenwriter and director from Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied Drama and Theatre Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Film Directing at the University of Texas at Austin. Her latest short film “To Vancouver” had its international Premiere at Berlinale Generation and won the IRIS Award for Best fiction short at the Hellenic Academy Awards. Her previous film ” I am Mackenzie” (2019) premiered at SXSW film festival and won the Grand Jury award for Best Texas Short. She is teaching film at the American College of Greece.
