Drawing from Toronto, Canada – Sophie is an Actor, Acting Teacher & Coach, and in the recent years a Producer and Director presently living in Athens. Sophie received her dramatic arts training at the Toronto School of Drama, and she has performed in various theatrical and film productions. Sophie is the Founder of IWA Actors Studio (2007) operating in Athens and Los Angeles and affiliated with the Beverly Hills Playhouse (BHP) – LA. With its primary focus in film & theater productions, she also offers film acting classes & workshops for the latest in professional development and artistic growth while also being an on-set Acting Coach for TV and Film. Most recent, in 2018, Sophie Directed and Produced Allen Barton’s play “Years to the Day”, one of the 10 best plays by the LA Weekly – translated to Greek and performed with success for two seasons at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Athens. www.iwanet.biz
