| Δεξιότητες | Istorima, a non-profit organization focused on creating a large Greek oral histories archive, is seeking a Podcast Creator for their English site (https://www.istorima.org/en/). The Podcast Creator will be responsible for producing and promoting audio content in English, highlighting some of the most exciting stories from Greece. Working with the team at Istorima, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play an integral role in preserving and sharing the rich cultural history of Greece with the world. Responsibilities Conceptualize, script, and produce podcast episodes in English that tell compelling stories based on the interviews conducted by Istorima Conduct interviews Collaborate with the team to determine show topics and themes that will engage English-speaking audiences Collaborate with other members of the team, including audio engineers, writers, and graphic designers, to ensure that podcast episodes are visually and sonically engaging Manage the podcast distribution process, ensuring that episodes are uploaded to appropriate platforms in a timely and efficient manner Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in podcast production, and use this knowledge to inform strategies for Istorima's podcast Requirements Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, film direction or a related field Native English speaker Εxperience in podcast production – highly appreciated Excellent storytelling and writing skills Proficiency in audio editing software Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment |
